National feed production news in January and February 2024
According to the data of sample enterprises, the national industrial feed output in January-February 2024 was 44.37 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%. The ex-factory prices of major compound feeds, concentrated feeds, and additive premixed feeds showed a downward trend both month-on-month and year-on-year. The proportion of corn in compound feeds produced by feed companies was 41.1%, and the proportion of soybean meal in compound feeds and concentrated feeds was 12.8%, down 1.5 and 1.4 percentage points year-on-year respectively.
